BECCY COLE’s Tamworth shows have always been a must for festival goers year after year. You may wonder how this country singer from Adelaide has kept them coming back, she’s been filling every seat in the same house for 20 years! The recipe is simple, Cole’s show is ever-changing, the songs, the stories, the laughter…Beccy Cole makes sure there is always something new and different – and surprising every time. That’s not to say that there aren’t old favourites thrown in, those coming to hear some Beccy classics will not be disappointed.
Opening Beccy’s show for the first time in Tamworth will be the amazing duo, Hussy Hicks, Julz Parker and Leesa Gentz. These gals have an incredible delivery, sometimes fast and furious, sometimes they make your spine so tingly, there’s fear of body flop. An absolute favourite act of Beccy Cole’s, she has also twisted their arms and made them honorary members of her band ‘The Sisters Of Twang.’
We can reveal that one of Beccy’s ‘surprise guests’ will be none other than her sparring partner of many years, Adam Harvey. The pair have just finished recording a duets album together; The Great Country Songbook Volume 2′ and will be performing their first single on Beccy’s show ahead of it’s May release. What’s more, they’ll be filming it for a brand new video (on the 21st) so you can look out for yourselves in the audience!
A regular at Beccy’s Tamworth shows is her Mum, Carole Sturtzel. Carole will also be joining Beccy on he 21st and they’ll be doing a very special song which went viral after Beccy and her partner Libby sang it with Carole on Australian Story last September.
